AEO Ultimate Lite for Wix
Questions people actually ask
Lite is free, does one thing, and does it without configuration. Most questions are about what it covers and whether you need the Store app instead.
What does Lite actually do?
It builds one connected schema.org graph across your whole Wix site — services, FAQs and business identity detected from your pages — and publishes llms.txt so AI crawlers can read a clean summary of what your site contains.
The word doing the work there is connected. Most tools publish separate blocks that never reference each other; a connected graph cross-references by @id, so a crawler reads your site as one description of one organisation rather than a pile of unrelated facts.
Is it really free?
Yes. No tier, no trial, nothing to renew, no feature held back. If you sell products you will want AEO Ultimate Store for Wix, which has paid tiers — but Lite is not a limited version of it. They cover different things.
Do I need both Lite and Store?
If you have a Wix Store, use Store — it covers the identity signals as well as products. Lite is for sites that do not sell: services, local businesses, portfolios, anything where the question is “who are you and what do you do” rather than “what do you stock”.
Running both risks two apps claiming the same entity, which produces a duplicate-node refusal rather than a better result.
Why is nothing showing on my site?
Almost always because the site has not been published since installing. Wix apps affect the live site on publish — editing and previewing is not enough.
The other two causes, and how to tell them apart, are in Troubleshooting.
Does it slow my site down?
No. It emits structured data into the page rather than loading a framework. There is no dashboard to render on the front end and nothing for a visitor to download beyond the markup itself.
Will it conflict with my Wix SEO settings?
Wix’s own SEO settings handle titles, descriptions and basic tags. Lite handles the connected entity graph and llms.txt, which Wix does not publish.
Conflicts arise with other schema apps, not with Wix itself. If two apps claim the same entity, the graph refuses the second rather than publishing a contradiction.
Can I check what it published?
Yes — the inspector fetches a page the way a crawler would and reports what it found. It needs a public HTTPS URL: a preview link, an unpublished page or a password-protected site cannot be checked, because a crawler could not read them either.
Do I need an AI key?
No. Lite has no AI features — it reads your existing pages and publishes what it finds. Nothing to configure and nothing to pay a provider for.
Something is not answered here
Ask. Lite is small enough that most questions are quick to answer from your live site.
