AEO Ultimate

Free tier on every platform

Terms

What you get, and what you owe.

Every AEO Ultimate edition is free and open-source software licensed under the GPL-2.0 or later. That licence, not this page, governs your right to use, modify and redistribute the software — and it never expires.

These terms govern one thing: what you buy directly from us at tampawebtech.com. Every other edition is installed through a marketplace — WordPress.org, the Wix App Market, the Shopify App Store — and that marketplace’s terms govern the transaction, the billing and your access. Those are not ours to set. We describe them below so you know what to expect, but where they differ from anything here, theirs govern.

Last updated [DATE]. Tampa Web Technologies, Tampa, Florida.

Three ways an edition can be paid for

Which one applies to you depends entirely on where you installed the plugin from.

Free editions

AEO Ultimate for WordPress and AEO Ultimate Lite for Wix are free. Use them as you wish, for as long as you wish, on as many sites as you wish. Nothing to pay, nothing to renew, and support is still offered.

Bought direct — you keep it

AEO Ultimate for WooCommerce is $99 per year for one site, bought from tampawebtech.com. That year buys updates and support. When it ends you owe nothing further and the plugin keeps working exactly as before — you simply stop receiving updates and support until you renew. The plugin never disables itself or locks you out. Because it is not hosted on WordPress.org, updates come from our licence server instead: once you enter a licence key the plugin joins WordPress’s own routine twice-daily update check, sending your licence key, your site URL and the plugin name — nothing else. Before you enter a key it makes no contact at all. When your term ends that check simply stops finding updates for you; nothing is switched off.

Marketplace subscriptions — the platform’s rules

AEO Ultimate Store for Wix has a free plan and two paid monthly plans, billed by Wix. This works differently to buying direct, and not by our choice: it is a marketplace subscription, so if it lapses you lose access to the paid features. Billing, renewal, cancellation and access are all handled by Wix under Wix’s terms. The same will apply to Shopify when that edition ships.

The marketplace’s terms apply too

We may publish an app-specific policy inside a marketplace listing, but it sits underneath that platform’s own agreement, which you accepted when you signed up with them. On billing, refunds and account access, the platform decides — not us. If you are unsure which set applies to you, the test is simple: did the money go to Tampa Web Technologies, or to the platform?

Refunds

30 days, bought direct

For anything bought from tampawebtech.com we offer a full refund within 30 days of your date of purchase. Email us and say so; you do not need a reason.

Marketplace purchases are refunded under that marketplace’s policy, through them.

Support

Free or paid, same desk

Support is offered on every edition, including the free ones, by email, Slack and WhatsApp. Most replies land within the hour during Tampa working hours.

Support is a person, not a guarantee of a fix or a response time.

Your data

Your keys, your rates

AI features use an API key you supply and control. You pay that provider directly at their rate; we add nothing and meter nothing. Nothing is sent anywhere until you configure a feature and trigger it.

See the privacy policy for what we collect.

Using this site

These terms also cover aeoultimate.com itself — the documentation, the support channels and any question you send us. Don’t use the site to break the law, attack the service, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for everyone else. Documentation may be quoted with attribution and a link.

To be completed

[WARRANTY DISCLAIMER — the GPL already disclaims warranty for the software; this is where the equivalent for the website and support would sit.]

[LIMITATION OF LIABILITY — the cap on what we are liable for.]

[GOVERNING LAW — Florida, USA, presumably.]

[CHANGES TO THESE TERMS — how changes are notified and when they take effect.]

Questions about any of this? Ask — that is faster than guessing.
