This Privacy Policy describes what information the AEO Ultimate Store application for Wix (the “App”), operated by Tampa Web Technologies (“we,” “us”), handles, where it lives, and what we do and do not do with it. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions. Effective date: August 13, 2026. Contact: david@tampawebtech.com.
1. The short version
The App is built so that your data stays yours. Everything the App stores lives in a data collection belonging to your own Wix site — not on our servers. AI features run on API keys you supply, billed to you by those providers directly. We do not sell data, run advertising, or build profiles.
2. Information the App stores (in your site’s own storage)
- Settings you enter: AI provider API keys, model choices, daily budget caps, analytics identifiers, and similar configuration.
- Enrichment records: structured product attributes, generated FAQ text, and publication state for products you chose to enrich or publish.
- Profiles you fill in: your business identity (E-E-A-T) profile and review-source links.
- Operational records: budget counters, per-brand domain preferences you save, and a log of self-identified AI crawler visits to the App’s public endpoints (user-agent, date, and count — no visitor tracking).
All of the above is stored in the App’s data collection on your Wix site. When you uninstall the App, this data is deleted automatically.
3. Your API keys
Keys you supply (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, or Microsoft Bing) are stored in your site’s app storage and transmitted only to the provider each key belongs to, solely to perform the feature you invoked. Keys are returned to your dashboard only in masked form; Google service-account private keys are never returned to the browser at all. We never use your keys for anything other than your own requests.
4. Information sent to third parties
The App contacts third-party services only to do what you asked:
- Your AI provider receives the product data needed for the enrichment, generation, or screening you requested — under your key and that provider’s privacy terms.
- Public data sources (Wikidata; brand websites’ published pages and sitemaps) are consulted read-only to verify brand identities and locate product images, respecting published crawler rules.
- Search and analytics services you connect (for example Bing Webmaster Tools or Google Analytics) are queried with the credentials you supplied, read-only.
We add no tracking of our own to any of this.
5. Information published on your storefront
Structured data you choose to publish (product schema, FAQs, link-preview tags, business identity) becomes part of your public store pages by design — that is the App’s purpose. Nothing is published without an action you take, and anything the App published can be removed with the App’s own tools on any plan.
6. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
- We do not run advertising or analytics trackers in the App.
- We do not track your store’s visitors. The crawler log records only self-identified automated crawlers hitting the App’s own endpoints.
- We do not train AI models on your data. AI processing happens at the provider you chose, under your key and their terms.
7. Data retention and deletion
App data persists in your site’s storage while the App is installed. Uninstalling the App deletes its stored data for your site automatically. You can also remove individual items (keys, profiles, published data) from within the App at any time.
8. Security
Dashboard endpoints require authenticated Wix dashboard sessions. Keys are masked in transit back to the dashboard and never logged. The App runs on Wix’s hosting infrastructure and inherits its platform-level protections.
9. Children
The App is a business tool for Wix store owners and is not directed at children under 16.
10. International merchants
The App stores data in your Wix site’s own storage, which is managed by Wix’s infrastructure. If you are subject to GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar regulations: the App processes catalog and configuration data on your instruction (you act as controller; the App as processor for the features you invoke), and uninstalling deletes the App’s stored data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be available at this page.
